A&P Project "Pinktober" /// By: Lea Young
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Otherwise known as “Pinktober,” it is an annual international health campaign every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds to research its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure. In the US, approximately 1 in 9 women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. With those statistics, as individuals we will unfortunately know someone close to us (or multiple people) during our lifetime that will fall victim to breast cancer. And as we’ve seen the jiu-jitsu community come together to share awareness on important topics, this is no different.
So in support of Pinktober, A&P will be dropping Batch 17, a project dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We asked for the details first and here is what they gave us…
All proceeds from our General Sale will be donated to The Keep A Breast Foundation:
The Kimono will be Limited to less than 200 pieces and will be available online this Friday October 28, at albinoandpreto.com at 11am PST.
The kimono is a simple as can be with a Bigger meaning behind the project.
